InspectRank Editorial

How we create, review and maintain the guides on the InspectRank blog.

The InspectRank blog is written for small business owners, not search engineers. Our goal is to explain SEO, local search, website health and AI search visibility in plain language, with practical steps you can act on without hiring a specialist.

How we write and review guides

Every article is drafted against a clear brief, reviewed by a second editor before publication, and re-checked periodically. We mark articles with the date they were published and the date they were last meaningfully updated, so you always know how current a guide is.

Sources and accuracy

Where an article makes a factual claim that may change over time — a platform setting, a search guideline, a performance threshold — we link to the primary source in a “Sources” section beneath the article. We do not fabricate data, testimonials, reviews or credentials.

Our relationship to the InspectRank product

The blog is independent of our paid reports, but the two share the same goal: helping businesses get found online. Many guides end with an invitation to run a free InspectRank report. The report is free and requires no account; paid upgrades are optional.

Affiliate links

Some articles recommend third-party tools. Where a link is an affiliate link, we disclose it clearly with an affiliate notice and use the appropriate rel attributes. Recommendations are based on genuine usefulness for small businesses, not commission.

Corrections

If you spot an error or an outdated detail in a guide, contact us and we will review and update it. Significant corrections update the article's “Last updated” date.
